Making the rain shaddow

Making the rain shaddow

this is me meditating on why I am laying in the driveway durring a rain storm in lincoln Ne while my brother takes my picture from the porch. Mom acted like someone reacting to someone tromping mud in the house but the person tromping was only wearing muddy socks.

I love doing rain shaddows. When it starts raining all you do is lay down on the cement and wait, while the rain patters down, giving you time to meditate on why you are laying on the ground somewhere and the meaning of it all. Then all you do is get the attention of some innocent bystander and ask them to take your picture so that you have proof that you did infact lay there on the ground collecting droplets of dew falling from the sky. Then jump up to find your shaddow neatly outlined by rain droplets. take another picture so your shaddow will remember momentarily occupying that blank canvas. emotional responces may vary as do reactions of onlookers.

This Is Brian. I took this one at Pioneers park in lincoln, Ne. We watched the clouds commenting, "Hey, look at that fast moving cloud. It looks like a bug" and answering,"Uh, that is a bug." or, "that one looks like half a lizzard".
